Getting There
Airlines
All the following airlines run regular flights to Alicante airport. Murcia is the closer of the two airports however only easyjet, bmibaby, ryanair, Jet2 and Monarch run regular flights there.
Arriving from Murcia Airport
On leaving Murcia (San Javier) airport at the main exit which joins the main road, TURN LEFT, signposted Cartagena .
Continue on this road until you reach a set of traffic lights and at this junction TURN RIGHT into a residential area (Residential Oasis). At the end of this road TURN RIGHT and join the slip road which crosses and joins the new N-332 towards Cartagena (ignoring the road signposted to Alicante ). Continue on this road for approx 12 KM and turn off at the junction signposted EL ALGAR - LA MANGA MU-312. Be very careful when you merge with this road as there is no slip road on to the motorway. Follow this road right to the end, where you will reach the start of the La Manga Strip with set of traffic lights. You are now on the main road which continues to the end of the Strip and is called the Gran Via La Manga. Continue along this road for approx 18 kms. Below is a map showing the location of the apartment.
Land marks to look out for are, at approx 14 KM from the top of the Strip you will see a restaurant on the left hand side shaped like a boat called Paquebot, then a large blue sign Grimanga, followed by a row of commercial units on the left, including the Cajamurcia bank; and a supermarket. Continue on, over the bridge, follow the road for a further 4kms. You will pass a restaurant on the left hand side called Meson Las Gondolas, this is the Las Gondolas urbanisation. Approach a roundabout, go all the way round and back on yourself, then take the first right, and the next right, park up on the left hand side just passed the car park. Look to your left and this is the apartment block. The apartment block is a terracotta and white colour. Block 2, floor 5, apartment 3.
Arriving from Alicante Airport
At the main exit of the airport head for the A-7 motorway ( Valencia and Murcia ). After about 2.5 KM join the A-7 motorway and head for MURCIA.
You will then pick up signs for CARTAGENA and TORREVIEJA, follow these signs on to the A37. There are tolls either side of Torrevieja (2.65 euros each). Continue on the A37 before reaching Cartagena turn off at the junction signposted EL ALGAR - LA MANGA.
MU-312. Be very careful when you merge with this road as there is no slip road on to the motorway. Follow this road right to the end, where you will reach the start of the La Manga Stripwith set of traffic lights. You are now on the main road which continues to the end of the Strip and is called the Gran Via La Manga. Continue along this road for approx 18 kms.
