Briefly… La Manga del Mar Menor is a resort town in Murcia. This unique area incorporates a strip of land 21 km long and 300 metres wide (average). La Manga means 'sleeve' and it is a strip of land which separates the Mediterranean Sea from the Mar Menor (Small Sea). There are more than 40 km of Blue Flag beaches which attract a lot of water sports enthusiasts. It also has many hotels, shops, bars, clubs and restaurants making it an ideal holiday destination.
